EFP invites 20 selected young European producers to have an opportunity to establish new contacts and present their current projects to each other. One of the main criteria for participation is that the producer has already made at least one but no more than three international co-productions, which were screened abroad. EFP selects the 20 producers from nominations received from its member organizations, which is in case of Czech Republic Czech Film Center / Czech Film Fund.

Radovan Síbrt and his production company PINK, which he co-founded in 2010, is a Czech co-producer of the Golden Bear winner of this year's Berlinale Touch Me Not by Adina Pintilie, a co-production of Romania, Germany, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and France, and the producer of Jan Gebert´s film When the War Comes, which opened Panorama Dokumente at this year’s Berlinale. In 2015, Radovan Síbrt also co-produced with Romania documentary Cinema, Mon Amour (d. Alexandru Belc).

Several Czech producers have participated in the programme before. Pavla Janoušková Kubečková (nutprodukce), the producer of the documentary Nothing Like Before (d. Lukáš Kokeš, Klára Tasovská) presented at IDFA 2017, as well as the co-producer of the film Agnieszka Holland's Spoor took part in 2017. In 2016, Jan Macola (Mimesis), the producer of Petr Vaclav‘s films Skokan (2017), We Are Never Alone (2016) and The Way Out (2015), was selected for this programme.
