What we do

• we collect and process information regarding Czech short films, including their foreign and domestic release dates
• we prepare the database of upcoming and finished Czech shorts
• we curate and publish the Czech Short Films collection, an annual selection of newly produced Czech short films
• we cooperate closely with the programming departments of foreign and Czech film festivals all year round, informing them about current Czech productions and recommending Czech shorts for the festival programme
• we help Czech filmmakers and producers to come up with the optimal festival strategies
• we cooperate with film schools as a major co-production partner
• we present short films at film festivals and co-production markets (mainly at Clermont-Ferrand and Annecy, but also in Berlin and Cannes)
• we provide basic PR services, including the monitoring of the participation of Czech films or talents abroad and informing the press and general public about their notable successes via newsletters and social media
• as members of European Film Promotion, we organise the Future Frames program at KVIFF
• we participate in the Magnesia Award for the Best Student Film at the annual Czech Lion Awards
• we publish the CZECH FILM magazine three times a year, which contains many interesting articles about Czech film, including the short film production
