The work of Kamil Lhoták presents one of the greatest adventures of the 20th century´s modern art. The director of the documentary follows the artist´s trail, exploring his desire to get rid of gravitation. Seemingly ordinary scenes depicted on the paintings of Kamil Lhoták hide disturbing magnetism, resisting any logical explanation. The film searches for so far unknown facts, trying to see them in a new perspective. With help of the artist´s son, Kamil Lhoták junior and other witnesses of his work and life, the director explores inspirational sources of Lhoták´s imagination, as well as events, which influenced not only his artistic journey but also his life.
