Thrilling story of a Czech pilot and about an endless love for flying. The lives of army soldiers in socialist Czechoslovakia before 1989 were filled with moments of freedom in the air, but at the same time poisoned by ever present State Secret Police informers. Four friends and their flight mentor have been serving at the border for years. The death of a former RAF pilot in 1974, during his attempt to fly westward and escape the persecution of the communist regime, changes everything.
