Pepa, a fifty-year-old clerk, lives in an ordinary district town. At home, he is quite henpecked, not having much respect either from his wife, or his daughter. Pepa knows that something must change, and he even knows what it should be. But! The journey to the aim can be thorny. We follow a chain of tragicomic and more or less vain attempts of Pepa, an outsider hero, to start living a real life. Will he succeed in finding the answer to the questions like: „Why are we here? When does the real life start? When we are born, after school graduation, after first sex, the wedding or the birth of children? Or is it only after we are dead?“
