An original interpretation of the life of a genius, Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů. The film is narrated and shot in a contemporary way, combining staged scenes, documentary narrative, unique archival footage, and photographs. In an engaging visual form, it expounds upon not only Bohuslav Martinů’s music, but also his dramatic personal life, his relationships with women, his feelings, and mindsets. The film was inspired by a book of the same name written by his wife, Charlotte Martinů.
