Czech-Swiss project Lost in Paradise will be presented at Crossroads Co-production Forum at Thessaloniki IFF. Project Miss Hanoi will be looking for co-producers at Baltic Event during Tallin Black Nights Film Festival.

The scripwriter and director Fiona Ziegler will present at Crossroads Co-production Forum her project Lost in Paradise, which tells a story of Eugene, who after spending many years abroad, returns to Switzerland and has to face his old life back home, where as an outsider, he reveals the grotesque ignorance of a spoiled society. The film is developed at Cinémotif Films by the producer Kristýna Květová. Fiona Ziegler has participated with the project at MIDPOINT Norway Script Development Program, Mediterranean Film Institute workshop and Zurich Film Festival Master Class programme. Lost in Paradise was supported by State Cinematography Fund Czech Republic.

Miss Hanoi, directed and produced by Zdeněk Viktora, is one of the 14 projects that will be presented at the end of November at Baltic Event in Tallin. Last autumn, Viktora participated with the project, which deals with the topic of Vietnamese immigrants struggling to adopt Western norms, at scriptwriting workshop Midpoint Intensive, which is co-organized by Czech Film Center, and it was also supported by State Cinematography Fund Czech Republic.
