Anneta Furdecká (*1993) graduated from FAMU in Prague (Production) and the Department of Film Studies (at Charles University in Prague). She is currently working on her own projects, as an emerging independent film producer. Recently, her film Switched Shifts (2018,dir. by Luboš Kučera) was awarded by Prague Shorts Film Festival. Another project Delimitation (2020,dir. by Tereza Vejvodová) premiered at the Jihlava IDFF, awarded at the Prague Dance Film Festival and circulates at other festivals abroad (Slamdance, PÖFF Shorts, VAEFF NY, Tous Courts, Žubroffka, Riga, Cineast, Prague shorts etc.).
Anneta coproduced US independent documentary Fioretta (2023, dir. by Matthew Mishory), participated in the creation of the animated documentary Intensive Life Unit (2021, dir. by Adéla Komrzý), Brotherhood (2022 dir. by Francesco Montagner) or Apart (2018, dir. by Diana Cam Van Nguyen). Meantime she worked as freelance on foreign projects Tribes of Europa(2021), Das Boot(2018) Alma&Oskar(2022) and many commercials.
Anneta is fascinated by semi-experimental forms of film narration (which could state through any layer of the film) and is always looking for challenging and original projects. In her portfolio there is also animated essay Social Cube (2018, dir. by Bety Suchanová), Past The Voice (2020,dir. by Natalia Antoňáková) or experimental dance performance film Roselyne (2021,dir. by Tereza Vejvodová and Cecile da Costa). Currently, Anneta is collaborating with nutprodukce on the documentary projects and on the development of the short animated film Genius Dream / Korolyov's Dream (dir. by Martin Búřil).
