Linda is in 20 week pregnacy when she and her husband Mark are told that their daughter has Down syndrome (DS). By law, they still have a month to have an abortion. However, killing the expected child is against their minds. They start attending a club for children with DS and their parents. The question is whether Linda will have to abandon her promising career as a violinist. She hopes that she and Mark will share the care of their daughter and at the same time both work. Marek, who works as a pilot, suddenly finds himself on unpaid leave for an indefinite period. The couple is going through a crisis, they have a quarrel and Linda ends up in the hospital. The child is fine and out of danger. Linda and Mark reconcile. However, they don't know what is the right decision?
