You don't have to live in the war zone to be confronted with the war. Conflict in eastern Ukraine is part of everyday live. Camouflage-dressed youths at train stations, internal migrants, and poverty – that´s just one side of it. On the other side, the war has also brought a sense of belonging to others, to weaker people, to the homeland. In the countryside, an alternative to the insufficient social system has emerged.
