From the documentary film about the realization of Tankred Dorst's theatrical play "I, Feuerbach" at the Ústí nad Labem Činoherní studio, emerges a hybrid film depicting how the magical essence of theatre begins to spill from the stage into life itself, blurring the boundaries between the performance and everyday reality. Actor Ivan Řezáč, embodying the mad actor Feuerbach, allows himself to be carried away by this role to the brink of madness. What was once a generational conflict among the characters in the drama transforms into a similar conflict among the actors, mirroring a generational conflict in contemporary society.
