The Czech Film Center has been systematically and intensively involved in the promotion of Czech short films for a number of years now, particularly at important foreign and domestic film festivals and markets. As part of the several years of cooperation with the Czech Film and Television Academy, CFC also select short films for the wider nomination for the Magnesia Prize for the best student film. The annual release of a collection of selected newly-produced Czech short films is also an important part of CFC’s activities in this area.
