Adrian is a Romanian poet, who immigrated illegally to Spain in 2002. Rafael, a second-hand car dealer offers him a night guard job at his auto dealership. During the rituals of the magical night of San Juan, Adrian meets Maria, a Spanish bass player in a jazz band, who is married to Javier, and they fall in love. Adrian never reveals to Maria though that back home in Romania, he is married. Rafael is torn between bankruptcy and divorce, when he finds a new girlfriend, Maria-Eugenia. Adrian and Maria-Eugenia become good friends and together they try to prevent Rafael’s drifting. They all run for love and understanding. They all make mistakes.
