From time immemorial people have loved a good mystery and enigma.The Second World War and Germany's secret military programmes to save the Third Reich are fertile ground for the rise of these myths. The underground factory in Cheb is surrounded by several mysteries that persist until now. But what is the actual truth? What is themost modern aeronautical factory onthe territory of the former Egerland hiding? Were German disc aircraft really manufactured here? What is the truth behind the secret tunnels leading all the way to neighbouring Germany? Did the underground factory really have eight floors? We faced these questions at the beginning of many days of our research. We visited Cheb's former aeronautical factory for ten years in order to find the answers. And now the time has finally come for the myths to end and the truth to come forward
