Two couples enjoy a peaceful business and family life. Hlož operates a prosperous security agency and Sláma owns a successful construction company while their wives jointly run an agency with VIP hostesses. Sláma decides to go for high stakes – he disrupts the system in a tender for a huge construction assignment, deciding that he is no longer going to “feed” anybody else from his cash flows. When setting up this act of rebellion he also involves his unsuspecting friend Hlož. But the determined Sláma underestimates how sharp an edge he is walking on. The construction contract is vitally important for the Syndicate of the Five, which “serves” a Councillor nicknamed Lulu. And Lulu must get Sláma out of the picture, whatever the cost. Suddenly we find ourselves in a world of wiretapping, surveillance, compromising material, preparations for “liquidation” and even unexplained murders. The icy atmosphere thickens, nobody trusts anybody else. Hlož fights to save his friend Sláma and then they take justice into their own hands. Meanwhile, the peculiar Mr. Bishop is following everything from behind the scenes. But why and for whom?
