A romantic, adventurous film inspired by a well-known novel by Slovak writer J. C. Hronský. The plot takes place in the 15th century and depicts the life of fourteen-year-old Thomas who possesses a magical bond with nature, wild beasts and birds of prey, striving to achieve justice for himself and his friends. This enthralling, dramatic story of a young boy is framed by Thomas first surge of love for young Formina, the daughter of Balador, the lord of the castle.
