Computer programer Honza spends most of his time in a software house e-mailing, upgrading, sending, attaching and loading. When he prepares to take his pre-adolescent son from his divorced marriage on an outing to the countryside, he makes certain to pack his celullar phone, notebook and digital camera. The hectic week-end trip is extended into a several-weeks-long stay in a little village at the foot of the mountains where Honza and his son spend the happiest and most entertaining time of their lives. Gradually, they befriend the local characters, especially the attractive, rebellious Markéta. Slowly, Honza falls for Markéta’s charms, the enticing aroma of her earthy grandmother’s home-made liqueurs, the rugged friendship with the rural family of Ludva and Vlastička, and the picturesque country life in general. With the advent of winter, Honza, forced by the laws of business, returns to “civilization”, cleansed and enriched with experiences that the city can never offer him…
