A satiric Slovak-Czech comedy based on the best selling novel by Petr Pišťanek. It makes use of allegory to narrate the life story of a churlish oaf of a man, a stoker named Rácz, who gradually 'takes power' at a Bratislava hotel. Because of its obvious parallels to the reality of Premier Vladimír Mečiar's political regime during the second half of the 1990s, it became a film 'non grata' and was wrapped up in the Czech Republic.
