Forty years ago, Czechoslovakia became the European football champion. It was a great honour for all the football community and the champions of Belgrade 1976 became heroes of our childhood dreams. What is left of this fame today? Once celebrated heroes are ordinary men today and the memory of the great moment of glory is slowly fading away. This visually appealing authentic film about football and football players tries to revive this unique experience. Finale also tells a story of today's football stars and brings quite ruthless confrontation of the ways of life and thinking then and today.
