After her mother’s death, eleven-year-old Hanka clings to a belief in pixies. In a new town, her stories make her the target of ridicule. She teams up with Michal, a loner obsessed with inventions, and together they set out to prove the pixies are real. Just when hope seems near, a forest fire breaks out. Hanka, unafraid, rushes in to save the creature.
