Following the advice of Soviet experts from the KGB and under the supervision of Soviet state power, a struggle took place in the years 1945-53 in order to form the Czechoslovak state establishment. The Monaco event was evaluated as the most successful State Security event in Czechoslovakia in the years 1949-1951. Thanks to this, the State Security Service managed to obtain credible documents to convict the accused of anti-state activities. It is a paradox that this persecution also affected people active in the anti-Nazi resistance. The way it happened has a surprisingly strong dramatic plot. As a result of covert police action against French diplomats and diplomatic missions, embassies, cultural and linguistic institutes of democratic countries (not only France).
