A six-part series inspired by the life of Simona Monyová, a successful writer from Brno who struggled with domestic violence for many years. It tells the story of a strong woman who pursued her goals, but was also an ordinary mother of three, dreaming of romantic love and a harmonious family. Just like her readers, to whom she was a friend they could carry around in their handbags in the form of a small paperback. Monyová described relationships with humour, sarcasm, and a sense of perspective. Her desire for great love led her to her second husband. However, the initially idyllic relationship gradually turned into a toxic and violent coexistence. Although she eventually managed to walk away from it, her life ended tragically.
