A father and son set out on their final road trip. Viktor, suffering from ALS, has chosen assisted suicide in Switzerland, while his son Sam struggles to accept it. On the way, they pick up Linda, a free-spirited hitchhiker whose presence brings warmth and perspective to their journey. As Sam learns to understand his father’s decision, Viktor begins to doubt it—but by morning, he’s gone to fulfill his choice. Sam and Linda return home alone. The film tenderly explores freedom, love, and acceptance in a story that is both heartbreaking and quietly hopeful.
