Rehearsals for a Revolution is a feature-length essay film tracing forty years of post-revolutionary Iran through the perspective of Pegah Ahangarani. Using family archives, home videos, war footage, and recorded voices, it builds a five-chapter collective history. The film follows her journey from childhood during the Iran–Iraq War to exile in London, where she confronts the 2026 massacres and ongoing conflict. Each chapter reflects lives shaped by repression—loss, exile, and silence. Now 40, Pegah assembles these fragments from afar, confronting her country’s past and present.
