This year's collection of 14 Czech short films produced in 2025 and 2026, selected by a jury of renowned film professionals, includes versatile types of audiovisual productions: from fiction to documentary, experimental shorts, and drawn or puppet animation. Original contemporary topics are presented in genres like coming-of-age LGBTQ+ story, a feminist rap fairytale, a fantasy adventure for a young audience, or a sociological animated documentary.
Some of these films have already premiered at Berlinale, IFF Rotterdam, Annecy, or Cinekid, some are still available for world premiere or international release, looking for world sales, etc.
All the best shorts from the Czech Republic are ready to be discovered by film curators, distributors, sales agents, broadcasters, and VOD representatives in one place!
