Olzo Omerzu, a talented Slovenian director living in Prague, studied at FAMU and celebrated success already with his graduation film - The Night Too Young which was selected for the Forum section of 2012 Berlinale.

Family Film, presented at 2012 Karlovy Vary Pitch & Feedback was made in a large international coproduction of Czech Republic, France, Slovenia Germany and Slovakia. In San Sebastian IFF, the film will be a part of a competitive section New Directors, where the main prize for the director and a Spanish distributor is 50 000 EUR.

The previous success of Czech film in San Sebastian was 10 years ago, when Bohdan Slama´s Happiness won the festival´s main prize.
