Made in Prague - 5th Czech Cinema UK Tour
MADE IN PRAGUE – the 5TH edition of the Czech Cinema UK Tour presents five award winning Czech films.
The film showcase runs July - September in selected Picturehouse cinemas including the Arts Picturehouse Cambridge, the Hackney Picturehouse and FACT Liverpool.
The Czech Film Center and the Czech Centre London in collaboration with Picturehouse Cinemas have curated a programme featuring the best of contemporary Czech cinema including Fair Play by Andrea Sedláčková, Nowhere in Moravia by Miroslav Krobot and Burning Bush by Agnieszka Holland. The documentary film Into the Clouds We Gaze by Martin Dušek and the psychological drama Honeymoon by Jan Hřebejk will be screened as part of the Discover Tuesdays strand in more than 20 Picturehouse Cinemas across the UK. Director Martin Dušek will personally open the showcase at the Picturehouse Central and the Ritzy Cinema in London on 7 July.
