Pig slaughter happens every ear. This year is different because Grandpa still doesn't know how to tell his widowed son-in-law Karel, that this will be the last time. Rest of the family have their own problems, including the butcher who hides his wet cartridges. The pig is killed, but Karel spills all the blood. Grandpa goes looking for pig's blood. Panic at home culminates in Grandpa’s return with another pig. He couldn't find any blood, so there will be a second slaughter. This time, the butcher is not so lucky with the cartridges. Grandpa interrupts the family feast, choking on a piece of meat. Only Karel is sane enough to get him in the car and drive opposite the ambulance. Grandpa is saved. The next morning everyone thinks about how to find their way back to themselves and each other.
