Klára, a popular soap opera actress, sees her chance in breaking into fame by participating in an ambitious film project about a Czech scandal of sexual abuse. Her ex-boyfriend, who raped her just before their break-up, is involved in the project too. Klára has long suppressed the incident and now, she is forced to confront her ex-boyfriend while still having feelings for him. She finds herself under immense pressure from several sides: an ex-boyfriend trying to fix their relationship, a manipulative film director gradually overstepping her intimate boundaries, her therapist trying to persuade her to quit the project for her own good and her agent, threatening her with the end of her career the minute she publicly admits she was raped.
