A time-lapse documentary film capturing thirty-five years in the life of Bára Basiková, an emancipated working woman, singer, and mother. The main topic of the film is the image of a woman who, throughout her life, breaks the persistent cliché about the role of women, who are supposed to primarily take care of the family, while the man earns a living. Bára repeatedly rebels against this stereotype. She never presented herself as a feminist, but in fact, to a certain extent, she represented the ideals of feminism; she was always an independent woman who was able to defend her work, but at the same time did not give up motherhood. In her relationships with men, although often quite turbulent, she always retained her independence.
