Calamity Sarah is looking for the right surrogate parents, and it isn't easy because Sarah is gifted with supernatural qualities, she tries to make her parents happy, and it always gets out of hand. Like a mole, one undermines a house, another, like a dolphin, sinks a yacht, and even their sturdy dam breaks. Sure, it's all hyperbole, but it points to the fact that love for a child is unconditional, whether you're a surrogate or a natural parent. The guide to the story is the designer and inventor Čáp Křáp (Stork Crock); his master - the disabled engineer Ii (D.E.)- strives for little Sarah because he cannot watch the little girl's futile journey through unsuitable foster families.
