Guide a few tourists through the Gorropu Canyon, make some quick money, and, for once, not feel like a loser? This plan appeals to 18-year-old Luigi, so he decides to pretend to be a guide. By a twist of fate, he ends up leading those no other guide wanted. Too old, too weak, or just plainly problematic. What begins as a simple trek soon becomes something far more demanding. Yet, as they push forward through the canyon, unexpected bonds are formed across nationalities and generations. And in the struggle, they find an opportunity to prove, to the world and to themselves, that they were never as weak as everyone assumed.
