Alan the hamster and Eight the robot train their rat friends for spaceflight, but the training goes wrong. The robot already misses space, so she heads off with just Alan for a brief visit to orbit. A space junk crash into their ship separates them and Alan crashes on the moon. Thus begins a battle with time, physics and fear. Eight and the rats try to reach Alan before he runs out of oxygen, while Alan attempts to build a ship on the moon from the remains of the Apollo mission. Will this seemingly impossible mission succeed?
