A comedy about scientists studying why cows always graze in a north-south direction. In their attempt to understand the world, they must first understand themselves.
Alžběta became a zoologist because her father forbade her from becoming a veterinarian. At 25 she has to start an independent life and, as a scientist, applies for a grant to research a peculiar phenomenon – grazing cows always stand in a north-south direction. To her surprise, she succeeds with the grant committee, but she has no idea how to conduct the research. She teams up with Apolena, another scientist who failed with her own project. Together, they head to the Czech countryside to see if animals really possess a sixth sense – magnetoreception. Full of prejudices they expect at every step, they start discovering each other’s past pains and fears for the future. Will the biggest discovery be the cows' sixth sense, the fact that people aren’t inherently bad, or truth about themselves?
