Movie novel about a young woman’s adolescence, About life without the drive to achieve artistic success in a family, where artistic success gets passed down from generation to generation. The story is told by the director in an autobiographical way. He tells the story through objects from the exceptional inheritance after his prematurely deceased sister Anna and his father, painter and architect Josef Wagner. Letters, diaries, photographs and footage from family archive take us back in memories to the early 1990s. The boarders were opened and so were new opportunities. The director’s sister sets off for Paris to embark on a study program. She has just turned 18. Sister writes letters from Paris reflecting her strong impressions from an au pair’s perspective.
