A sensitive and intimate portrait of two adolescent sisters, Veronika and Bára, who are growing up under the burden of their mother's incurable illness and with the daily fear that they may lose their loved one. Zorka Šťastná, a long-term oncology and palliative care patient, faces repeated returns of cancer. When the treatment stops working after years, she decides to end it and live the time she has left to the fullest. A film about two completely ordinary and yet extraordinary girls who find themselves in a situation that no one would want to experience. A story of adolescence accelerated by circumstances, of the courage they both found in the face of impending death, and of the humor that helps them cope with something bigger than themselves.
