Free-spirited Franci longs to dance, but is imprisoned behind the barbed wire of a concentration camp. War forces her to endure the unimaginable and overcome constant danger—yet her greatest struggle begins when she finally returns home.

Her life changes abruptly when Franci is torn from her dreams of dancing and imprisoned in a concentration camp. Surrounded by fear, violence, and loss, she is forced to adapt, endure, and fight to preserve her sense of self. Each day tests her resilience in ways she never imagined. When the war finally ends, Franci returns home hoping for peace, but instead faces a different kind of struggle. Marked by trauma and unable to reconnect with the life she once knew, she must confront the lasting scars of survival and find a way to move forward in a world that feels forever changed.
