A miniseries loosely based on the true story of three women who stood up to a marriage swindler. Butcher Táňa, mail carrier Lída, and pregnant part-time worker Mirka—each at a different stage in her relationship with Milan Bareš. Mirka is expecting his child and dreams of a better life in Prague, where Milan is supposedly renovating an apartment. Lída has Bareš only as a lover and has no idea that he will strike at her most vulnerable spot. And Táňa is just at the beginning of her relationship with Bareš, head over heels in love. None of the women has any idea how this one man will turn their lives upside down.
