On 24 December, when miracles happen, fates of 5 men and 5 women intersect. Psychologist Štěpán saves suicides and the whole world but neglects his own family. His wife Karin has a lover and for his daughter Laura, Štěpán represents no authority. But by a strange twist of fate, he is given a father´s role back. Karin´s occasional lover Oliver who plays Santa in a shopping mall have several affairs. One of them, the good looking and rich Petra, has always longed to become a mother. Her long-desired son is born right on Christmas. The parents of Tomáš, director of a promotion agency, drive her to a hospital. They´ve been waiting in vain to meet Tomáš´s new partner, until today, when he finally introduces to them the love of his life - who turns out to be a man.
