In the summer issue of Czech Film, we visit famed director Anieszka Holland during the shoot of her latest film Charlatan, we then take readers behind the  scenes of a spectacular animated feature Even Mice Belong in Heaven, and finally, we speak with the director Mira Fornay as she finishes work on her latest film Cook, F**k, Kill.

The Cannes film festival will soon be on us, this year presenting Miloš Forman's classic Loves of a Blonde along with Helena Třeštíková and Jakub Hejna's new documentary Forman vs Forman. While the student section of Cinéfondation will feature Ondřej Erban's One Hundred and Twenty-eight Thousand, the ACID program premieres Artemio Benki's Solo, a sensitive essay about an Argentinian piano virtuoso and composer.
