Atirkul in the Land of the Real Men is co-produced by Alice Tabery of Cinepoint on the Czech side and showcases a delicate Muslim businesswoman passionate about horses, who decides to enter the rough world of buzkashi, a horse game played by tough men. My Father is a Czech film produced by Kaveh Farnam from Prague outlet Europe Media Nest. Director Pegah Ahangarani explores her relationship with her father, Jamshid, through her memories and archives.

"Are you ready to face the gaze of people who were ousted from their destroyed homes by war?" This question will be answered by a VR film, Fresh Memories: The Look, created by Ondřej Moravec and Volodymyr Kolbasa, which will be showcased in the IDFA DOC LAB Spotlight. This Czech-Ukrainian film was produced by Ondřej Moravec for Brainz Studio on the Czech side. The short animated documentary Love, Dad by Diana Cam Van Nguyen makes a return to IDFA after two years, this time as part of the school program.

On the industry side of the festival, IDFA FORUM will host a pitch for a Slovak-Czech documentary titled Velvet Generation, by Ivana Hucíková, co-produced by Lukáš Kokeš of nutprodukce. Among the participants in IDFAcademy, two Czech representatives will be present: the young female producers Barbora Drtílková and Natalia Pavlove.
