After Pepa Lubojacki's sensational win of the Berlinale Documentary Award for her feature debut If Pigeons Turned to Gold, the Czech documentary film scores another tremendous success!

Oscar-nominated Mr. Nobody Against Putin by David Borenstein and Pavel Talankin, produced by Helle Faber of Made in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Radovan Síbrt, Alžběta Karásková, and Petra Dobešová of PINK (Czech Republic), won the BAFTA for Best Documentary Feature, making it the first Czech documentary ever to receive such honors. The celebrated film offers an unprecedented glimpse into life in Putin's Russia through the eyes of Pavel Talankin.

At 2026 BAFTAs, the film competed against 2000 Meters To Andriivka by Mstyslav Chernov, Apocalypse In The Tropics by Petra Costa, Cover-Up by Laura Poitras and Mark Obenhaus, and The Perfect Neighbor by Geeta Gandbhir.
