After posting a video about self-harm, Anička (14) finds support on TikTok and begins sharing content about her mental health. Encouraged by Kris (17), a charismatic creator of videos about mental health disorders, she becomes convinced she has multiple diagnoses. However, her search for professional help fails, since her parents don’t take her seriously. Following a conflict with her mother, Anička swallows pills and gets admitted to a psychiatric facility, where she struggles to be taken seriously. A new friendship and betrayal from Kris lead her to realise that she doesn’t belong in a psychiatric hospital. She returns home and begins posting recovery videos—but behind the polished footage, fresh razor wounds remain.
