I am a producer based in Prague, Czech Republic with a background in Film Studies (Charles University in Prague) with a master’s degree in Film and TV Production (FAMU – Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague).
During my studies, I have produced amongst others a short documentary Everything Has its Own Time (2017) by Viola Ježková – Special Mention at the JIDFF and Honorable Mention at the Marienbad FF and an animated short Sisters (2021) by Andrea Szelesová screened at more than 40 festivals all over the world including Annecy, Guanajuato IFF, Bucheon IAF, Clermont-Ferrand, Animateka IAFF, FEST – New Directors, Filem’on, LIAFF, Stockholm IFF, KDIAF, BIAF, Ottawa Animation FF or Finále Plzeň.
I am an alumna from IDFAcademy and dok.incubator workshop cz/sk and I presented the project at the ANIMARKT Stop Motion Forum and the Move it on workshop. In 2020, I was awarded The Josef Hlávka Award for talented students under the age of 33 in the Czech Republic, and in the following year, I was granted the GWFF Award for talented film production students at FilmFestival Cottbus.
Since 2019, I have been working as a producer in the production company CINEPOINT focusing on creative documentaries and animation. Here she is currently producing Tereza Kovandová's short animated film HUMANITY, which was supported in production by the Czech Film Fund, and developing several feature-length documentaries, including Land of Fire by Nikola Klinger, which was selected for the Pitch it@Berlinale workshop.
Apart from my work at CINEPOINT, I am working as a line producer for other production companies and as a Festival Coordinator at FAMU preparing festival distribution strategies for student films.
